Travelling in China without speaking the local language can get quite tiring. Especially if you want to go to a non touristy place like The Great Wall of China in Jinshanling. Jinshanling is a 2 hour car drive away from Chinas capital Bejing. Finding a driver which takes you there for a reasonable rate was almost impossible. The first driver threw me out of his cab after realizing how far he needs to go. The second one didn’t know the way so I had to guide him to our destination. Thank god I decided to enable data roaming on my mobile otherwise we would have been lost. Finally we reached the Great Wall in the late afternoon and were able to enjoy the wall during the golden hour. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay for sunset since our friendly driver told us to be back soon.
